Councilors of Nkambe have deliberated and voted the Nkambe Council Budget for 2026 balanced in both REVENUE and EXPENDITURE at the sum of ONE BILLION THREE HUNDRED AND NINETY NINE MILLIONS SIX HUNDRED AND SIXTY SIX FRANCS, from ONE BILLION TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTY SEVEN MILLION NINE HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND FRANCS with (SPECIAL AUTHORIZATION in 2025 inclusive) witnessing an increase of 118,446,666 FCFA in absolute terms and 8.7% in relative terms.
The session took place on 28th November 2025 at the Nkambe Multipurpose Hall under the auspices of the Senior Divisional Officer for Donga Mantung.
During the session the Council supported three teams participating in the WICUDA Sports and Culture Tournament with the sum of 100.000frs each wishing the Valley Boys, Spartans FC and Binju FC victory as they represent the Wimbum Community from home at the finals.
The session was also attended by Traditional Authorities, Members of Village Development Associations, Youth and Women representative, Economic Operators, People with disabilities, Internally Displaced People, and Leaders of minority groups.
